THE upcoming Zimbabwe Institutional Investors Forum is a critical platform for repositioning the country as a competitive and credible investment destination, an official has said.
Marilyn Ncube, who is the director of Frank Capital Markets, the supporting partner of the forum and the official Zimbabwe contact for registrations and partnerships, said the country cannot afford to miss out on growing global investment opportunities.
“Zimbabwe cannot afford to sit on the sidelines while global capital continues to search for yield, impact, and long-term value. The opportunity is here, but it requires alignment, credibility, and deliberate engagement between investors, policymakers, and industry leaders,” she said.
The remarks come ahead of the 2nd Zimbabwe Institutional Investors Forum 2026, which is set to bring together policymakers, institutional investors, regulators and business leaders to deliberate on economic growth, investment opportunities and policy reforms.
The forum will be held on 24–25 June 2026 in Harare.
Ncube said the forum would provide a trusted engagement platform capable of translating dialogue into tangible investment outcomes.
“This Forum is a critical step toward repositioning Zimbabwe as a serious investment destination. It creates a trusted platform where capital meets opportunity, where conversations translate into transactions, and where local and international stakeholders can collaborate with confidence,” she said.
She added that Frank Capital Markets was committed to facilitating meaningful engagement between investors and Zimbabwe’s evolving investment ecosystem.
“As Frank Capital Markets, we are proud to support this initiative and to serve as the local bridge for investors, partners, and institutions looking to engage meaningfully with Zimbabwe’s evolving investment landscape,” said Ncube.
The forum is expected to focus on a range of economic and investment issues, including institutional investment, infrastructure financing, impact investing and strategies for accelerating Zimbabwe’s economic transformation.
Stakeholders from the public and private sectors are expected to use the platform to explore opportunities for collaboration and investment partnerships aimed at driving sustainable development.-herald
