Top entreneurs, executive to be honoured at 3rd Global Business Achievers Network awards

SOME of Zimbabwe’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and corporate executives for 2025 will be honoured at the 3rd Global Business Achievers Network awards ceremony slated for Harare on November 22.

There are more female and young nominees this year compared to the first two editions of the event, as the Government’s deliberate policy to empower youths and women continues bearing fruit.

Nominees have been drawn from private and public companies, parastatals and local authorities.

Running under the theme “Connecting minds, building the future. Empowering partnerships for shared success”, this year’s awards ceremony will honour winners in more categories than the first two editions.

“We are honouring outstanding business leaders and service providers who have distinguished themselves in 2025 as the economy continues on a growth trajectory.

“There are more female nominees this year, a reflection that women are breaking into previously male-dominated economic spheres,” said awards chief executive Dr Tendesai Mushamba.

Zimbuild Property Investments chief executive Dr Tinashe Manzungu, Legacy Air Conditioning founder Ms Sharon Hungwe, Mutapa Investment Fund chief executive Dr John Mangudya, National Building Society managing director Mr Sifiso Mahlangu, businesswoman Mrs Sarah Chiyangwa and Dandemutande Limited chief executive Mr Never Ncube are among the nominees.

Others include Murehwa Rural District Council chief executive Mr Alois Gurajena, Mr Admire Ndumo of Nissan Clover Leaf Motors, Kwekwe mayor Councillor Albert Musungwa and Zimbabwe Building Contractors chief executive Joyline Zindaga.

Rising indigenous companies Glow Petroleum and Prevail Group also have several nominees.-herald
