In a statement, the President of the Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe, Emmah Kativhu congratulated the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Barbara Rwodzi, on being recognised as the Best Minister for the year ending 2025.AI technology implementation
The award, she said, is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the travel and tourism sector in Zimbabwe.
“She displays visionary leadership and steadfast dedication, which has helped her play have played a pivotal role in promoting our nation as a prime tourist destination.
“Her initiatives have not only strengthened our sector, but have also fostered collaboration among all stakeholders, ultimately benefitting the whole economy and many communities across Zimbabwe,” said Kativhu.
She added: “We recognise that the challenges faced by the tourism sector are significant, yet with Minister Rwodzi as our partner and champion, we have seen remarkable strides in policy formulation, strategic marketing and support for local business. Her passion for promoting sustainable practices and inclusivity within the industry has set a commendable example to us all.”
Kativhu added: “As we celebrate this well-deserved recognition, HAZ reaffirms its commitment to working alongside the Minister and her team to continue advancing the sector.
