“We are thrilled with the massive support and nominations from all Zimbabweans, cutting across races and generations.
This year’s event promises to be even bigger, with Information minister Jenfan Muswere as the guest of honour at an event that traditionally honours the country’s eminent personalities.
“We are honoured to invite the Minister of Information to join us again on this special occasion, his presence underscores the importance of ZCTA in promoting community development and social impact.”
Masaka said the theme for this year is Unity in Diversity, Strength in Community — a call to action for all Zimbabweans to come together and build a brighter future.
“The ZCTA is more than just an awards ceremony; it’s a celebration of Zimbabwe’s resilience, determination and spirit. It’s a platform that showcases the country’s brightest stars, providing a stage for them to shine and inspire others.”
Past winners of the ZCTA include notable individuals such as Nigel Chanakira, Dynamos, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, Sikandar Raza, Madam Boss, Baba and Mai Charamba, and Dr Vivek and Solanki — trailblazers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment to community development.
ZCTA has become a benchmark for excellence in Zimbabwe, recognising individuals and organisations that are making a significant impact in their communities.
The awards ceremony will feature a range of performances, as well as the announcement of the winners of the prestigious awards.
