Local businessman Taruberekera participates at global AI and energy conference

Craft Properties Holdings founder, Professor Kudakwashe Taruberekera, is participating at the Global AI show in Dubai and the Middle East Energy 2024 symposium that is seeking to find novel energy solutions.

The Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Mr Omar Sultan AL Olama and United Arab Emirates Government Head of Cyber Security, Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, will speak at the Global AI Show at Grand Hyatt, Dubai.

Prof Taruberekera, who has represented Zimbabwe on various international business fora, will also attend the Middle East Energy 2024 where more than 1,300 global exhibitors and 40,000 energy professionals will exhibit.

On show will also be several energy products and solutions.

He will attend a Leadership Summit, Technical Sessions on trending technologies.

It will feature the world’s largest solar and battery experts as the country moves to expand renewable energy use.

The three-day conference will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Prof Taruberekera said his desire was to be the country’s foremost international business ambassador.

Prof Taruberekera said teamwork and networking were key in promoting growth in business.

“It is imperative that we attend such events especially during such a period we are notoriously surrounded by heavy skepticism regarding the use of renewable energy as an alternative for non-renewable energy sources,” he said.

“Being synonymous with Infrastructure Development solutions, Craft Properties Pvt Ltd is mainly motivated by ensuring that there is enough energy generation to suffice future needs.”

To that effect, the company has resorted to using solar electricity at its premises as part of promoting renewable energy use.

“Convening with like-minded business people could be exactly what the company needs to help accelerate project development and reduce the financial burden on the government as a private company.

He is also slated to attend the 2024 United States International Business Conference in Florida from June 5-8, 2024 before participating at the 10th CEO Africa Roundtable in Victoria Falls from June 12 to 15, 2024.

The US summit will run under the theme: “Modernise, Reshape and Grow.”

Craft Properties will also participate at the forthcoming Zimbabwe International Trade Fair’s Township Economies and Rural Entrepreneurship Summit in Bulawayo.

He said the event would allow him to also support the implementation of Government’s NDS1 blueprint focusing on labour and social welfare, local government, education, national housing, SMEs, women’s development, lands and agriculture.

“The company continually strives to leave its imprint in the development and the implementation of strategies to successfully facilitate evolutions that positively impact the country at large,” he said.

Craft Properties, he said, was keen to keep up with modern trends and how Artificial Intelligence could positively influence the business.
