Kuchera, a German-based technology company specialising in haulage operational efficiency in mining, has secured several partnerships for equipment that optimises hauling efficiency in the mining sector.
One of the partnerships is with German intralogistics company BEUMER Group through its company builder, Beam.
The partnership comes as Kuchera envisions a future where technology empowers people to work smarter in the mining industry emphasising the significance of operator behaviour in improving truck availability, productivity, safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

“Kuchera’s innovative approach, leveraging augmented intelligence and optimisation, has the potential to revolutionise material hauling in the mining industry. We believe in their vision and are excited to be a part of their journey.”
The company also offers optimised and cost-effective alternative haulage solutions for each specific operation, resulting in substantial cost savings, increased output, and improved sustainability.
The company has also entered into a partnership with Machinery Exchange, who are earthmoving equipment specialists that focus on equipment sales, equipment rental, spare parts, filtration, and power generation.
“Machinery Exchange is excited to utilise Kuchera’s optimisation platform for our machines at Unki Mine in Zimbabwe. The prospect of gaining total control over our work site and accessing detailed overviews of production numbers fills us with anticipation.
“We believe that empowering our operators with game-changing insights and driving recommendations will propel our mining operations towards unmatched efficiency and success,” said fleet track controller Oliver Rapha.
Kuchera sub-Saharan Africa ambassador and Magna 24 managing director Innocent Guvakuva said the company was focusing on bringing innovation into the country’s mining industry with attention on operator performance and proficiency management.
“The solution helps operators to become self-leading team members, optimising safety, fleet management, and productivity. The solution creates empowered operators of the future. As Magna 24, we are happy to partner with Kuchera on this futuristic journey.”
Kuchera boasts a dynamic founding team, led by three managing directors from diverse backgrounds namely Kumbirai Chipadza, Mxolisi Sibiya and Chris Hugger who link foreign companies with Zimbabwean firms.
